Advanced Vascular Dynamics, Inc.

Advanced Vascular Dynamics, located in Portland, Oregon in the USA, is a world leader in post-catheterization puncture site hemostasis for both femoral and radial procedures. Its first product line, the CompressAR® System, was introduced over 30 years ago and has been safely used on millions of patients worldwide in hospital cardiac catheterization laboratories,

interventional nursing units and interventional radiology laboratories. The CompressAR System is comprised of easy-to-use equipment that works with a disposable, sterile compression disc to externally compress the femoral artery after the catheterization sheath is removed.

After introducing the CompressAR Universal System which featured the line of disposable Comfort™ Discs, Advanced Vascular Dynamics’s product line has since expanded to include the StrongArm™ SuperComfort™ System, handheld compression-assist devices including Compass™ and the fully-disposable ComfortPress™, and the disposable RadAR Model 4100 Vascular Compression Device for post-cath radial artery hemostasis.

The StrongArm SuperComfort System features equipment to fit several different kinds of beds and stretchers often found in both cath labs and critical care nursing units. Key improvements over the Universal System include the StrongArm and the disposable SuperComfort Discs, which help provide more stable compression during femoral hemostasis.

Important benefits associated with all of Advanced Vascular Dynamics’s products include safety, convenience, ease of use and comfort for both the clinician and the patient. Advanced Vascular Dynamics is registered with the USA FDA and certified under ISO 13485. And the products are CE marked.
