The SUPERA® stent offers patients and physicians unmatched radial strength with unsurpassed flexibility compared to traditional laser cut nitinol tube stents. The SUPERA stent has been tested in engineering bench compression studies to demonstrate 360% greater radial strength than the next strongest nitinol stent available. The SUPERA stent has also been tested through 10,000,000 cycles of 120 degree flexion/bending engineering bench tests and 180 degree torsion engineering bench tests to demonstrate exceptional flexibility. The results of both engineering studies revealed unsurpassed durability for the SUPERA stent.
In addition to radial strength, flexibility, and durability, the unique design of the SUPERA stent offers high conformity to the natural vessel and 1:1 nominal sizing in arterial vessels. The SUPERA stent will be available in size ranges from 4mm to 8mm in diameter, and 40mm to 150mm in length, mounted on a 120cm usable length catheter system.
